Fletcher alumna and Ph.D. candidate Lima Ahmad appears in “The World” to discuss the U.S. State Department's announcement that it is withdrawing non-essential diplomatic personnel from Afghanistan.
The US State Department announced it was withdrawing non-essential diplomatic personnel from Afghanistan by May 1st. The announcement left some Afghans feeling anxious about the future security of their country. The World's Marco Werman spoke with Lima Ahmad, a PhD candidate with The Fletcher School at Tufts University, about how the announcement has left Afghans feeling.
