Leslie Puth to Serve as Keynote Speaker for December Send-Off Ceremony
The annual ceremony is an opportunity for the community to celebrate students who are completing their studies at Fletcher
Fletcher is delighted to announce Leslie Puth (F11) as the keynote speaker for the upcoming December Send-Off Ceremony on December 13, 2023. The annual ceremony provides an opportunity for the Fletcher community to come together and celebrate the students who are concluding their time at Fletcher after the Fall semester.
In addition to her dedication to Fletcher as an alumna and current chair of the Fletcher Board of Advisors, Puth brings a wealth of professional experience in financial services, notably in investment banking and financial inclusion. Her commitment extends beyond the corporate space, with active involvement in community-based organizations in both New York City and Boston.
Having spent eleven years in trading and sales, culminating in managing the NY-based sales desk at Banque Indosuez, a French investment bank, Puth then became involved in working with several non-profit organizations focused on issues provoked by poverty and inequality in Brooklyn, where she and family resided. This led to over a decade of engagement and work around fundraising to help these organizations grow.
In 2011, after receiving a MALD degree from The Fletcher School with a focus on development economics from Fletcher, Puth continued her career at Accion International, a global financial inclusion non-profit, where she served as Senior Director of Development until 2021.
Puth has served as a trustee on the board of the Brooklyn Museum since 2008 and on the board of advisors at Fletcher since 2012.
Beyond her degree from Fletcher, Puth holds an MBA in finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in economics and French from Wellesley College. Currently residing in both New York City and Rhode Island, Puth is set to inspire and impart wisdom to the students at Fletcher's December Send-Off Ceremony.
