Reconnect with Fletcher and Tufts friends in London this December at the 24th Annual Fletcher London Symposium!
The program will begin with a special evening reception on Thursday, December 10, generously hosted by H.E. Jeroen Cooreman, F97, Ambassador of Belgium to the United Kingdom, at his residence.
The symposium will take place on Friday, December 11.

Reception Host
Jeroen Cooreman, F97, has been serving as the Belgian Ambassador to the Court of St. James’s since January 2025. He is also the Belgian Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organisation.
He joined the Belgian Foreign Ministry after graduating from Fletcher, in 1997. He served as a diplomatic officer in Kinshasa, Tokyo, Kabul (where he opened and headed the Belgian Representation Office), Bangkok and Washington, DC. He was Ambassador to Colombia and Venezuela and Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York and (in 2019-2020) to the UN Security Council. At Headquarters, he worked as advisor to the Foreign Minister, diplomatic advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister, MFA Director for Economic Interests and most recently Director-General for Bilateral Affairs, a global role where he was overseeing all bilateral and geographic policy issues. In this capacity, he also served on the Foreign Ministry’s Management Board.
Before attending Fletcher, Jeroen worked as brand manager for Vandemoortele, a Belgian fast- moving consumer goods company. In between his two years at Fletcher, he also worked for the United Nations Secretariat in New York on management reform issues.
