The Neubauer Family Program in Economics and Public Policy is a joint PhD program between the Department of Economics and The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Our students combine rigorous coursework in economics with their public policy studies and are full members of both the Department of Economics, and the Fletcher School and its vibrant and interdisciplinary public policy community.

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Program in International Affairs trains scholars to conduct cutting-edge research across key areas of international affairs. A combination of in-depth hands-on fieldwork and comprehensive theoretical study will enable you to uncover the meaningful questions that ultimately shape your future research and your career, projecting you into a leadership role in academia, government or the private sector. This degree was formerly known as the Doctor of Philosophy Program in International Relations.
