On the MALD program
Courses in international mediation and processes of international negotiations have really helped me develop a critical thinking framework that enables me to ask strategic questions about what steps to take next in a negotiation, especially in difficult circumstances.
On internships
As a trained mediator, I am currently mediating small claim cases. This is giving me the opportunity to keep practicing and strengthening my mediation skills while also tackling and helping solve real life issues that obstruct people's daily lives.
On campus culture
Fletcher reflects the international world we live in today. I almost feel that I do not live in the United States because the environment is so international. It is crucial to communicate and engage in discussions rather than assuming things. Only by asking questions and being open can we find solutions to the problem.
