Biography
Wright Smith is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in International Security Studies at the Fletcher School and a Postdoctoral Fellow in in the International Security Program at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He earned his PhD in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in May, 2026. His research focuses on international security, specifically the conduct of war, wartime decision-making, and military strategy and operations.
