Fletcher Students may enroll in graduate courses at Harvard University through cross-registration. Enrollment deadlines and course offerings differ by graduate school. Information can be found on the Harvard Course Catalog webpage. Students are required to follow the academic calendar and all enrollment deadlines of both the Harvard graduate school where they are cross-registering and The Fletcher School. Cross-registration is not recommended that Fletcher students in their first semester.

Instructions for Fletcher students cross-registering at Harvard

  1. Fletcher students interested in cross-registering at Harvard University must create a Harvard Key every semester, regardless of whether the student has created one in the past. The Harvard Key Activation Guide contain step-by-step instruction on how to create your Harvard Key.
  2. After creating a Harvard Key, students should follow the instructions on the Harvard Course Registration Guide to request to enroll in a course.

Once your course appears in “Enrolled Courses” [Not the same as your “Crimson Cart”] you are fully enrolled in the course. Students must have enough credits to cross-register and may need to drop a Fletcher course from their class schedule. Harvard courses appear in SIS at the end of registration period.
