Elizabeth A. McClintock, Ph.D. is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of International Negotiations at The Fletcher School at Tufts University and the Executive Director of the Bridgeway Group. Dr. McClintock has over 25 years of experience offering negotiation advice to parties in conflict, consulting on international mediation efforts, developing curricula, designing training, and implementing programming in negotiation, mediation, communication, conflict management, and leadership development worldwide. Dr. McClintock’s work is focused in conflict and post-conflict environments, with both public and private sector organizations. Dr. McClintock’s has supervised multi-year projects in Burundi, Timor-Leste and Liberia and managed a multi-year, multi-country capacity building program for the World Health Organization.
Dr. McClintock’s organizational capacity building work has included a range of clients such as the Burundian Army, the South African University system, and the World Health Organization. Work at the WHO has focused on improving the ability of member states to better manage the global health diplomacy process and has resulted in a series of publications, including the book Negotiating Public Health in a Globalized World: Global Health Diplomacy in Action, with co-authors, D. Fairman, D. Chigas, and N. Drager (Springer 2012) and Multistakeholder Dialogue for Women’s and Children’s Health: A Guide for Conveners and Facilitators (PMNCH/WHO 2014) with co-author Laura J. Frost.
In addition to teaching at Fletcher, Dr. McClintock is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C. Prior to co-founding The Bridgeway Group, Dr. McClintock was a Partner at CMPartners, LLC and before that, Director of Programs at Conflict Management Group. Dr. McClintock is a proud Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Morocco).
