Temitope Akin-Fadeyi is a Principal Manager of the Development Finance Department at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). She was the pioneer Head of the Financial Inclusion Secretariat at the CBN where she led the implementation of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy and championed high-level engagements with public and private sector stakeholders, facilitating policy and market innovations to advance financial inclusion in Nigeria.

Prior to joining the CBN; Akin-Fadeyi was the Head of Banking Services of FINCA International; a global microfinance organization, where she pioneered the Banking Services Department in Uganda and mentored Subsidiary Heads. She served as a pioneer Director on the Board of the green field operation for FINCA Microfinance Bank in Nigeria. She also worked with two commercial banks; Fidelity Bank Plc and Ecobank Nigeria and held various strategic roles.

She has over 20 years of banking experience with background in Development Finance, Financial Inclusion, Strategy, Operations, Digital Financial Services, Microfinance, Retail Banking, Product Development and International Money transfers. She thrives on value creation through a unique blend of practitioner; policymaker and consumer perspectives, leveraging hands-on experience from retail banking, microfinance and regulatory institutions.
