On the Fletcher Alumni community
I reached out to a Fletcher alumnus within the first couple of weeks of starting at Fletcher. Now while some might say that's a bit aggressive, I got a response within a day and was on a phone call within the same week. We talked for longer than I expected, and the alumnus was extremely helpful. I initially reached out to learn more about the company where he works but we ended up talking about my entire plan for Fletcher, covering how I can best maximize my time here, and every other piece of advice he could offer. He offered his time to me whenever I had more questions or just wanted to bounce ideas off of him. It was a great first impression of Fletcher alumni.
Why I chose the MIB
I learned about Fletcher's MIB program almost by accident. When I made the decision to pursue a graduate degree, I was initially only looking at MBA programs. I met with admissions staff at an MBA fair and learned that the Tufts program was more than an MBA program. It was an MBA program with a wide variety of classes and opportunities that did not sound like any of the other schools I had heard about. I knew I wanted a graduate business degree that focused on international issues and offered some sort of differentiation. Fletcher checked all the boxes in my search. I have a far-too-long list of classes that I want to take, along with other experiences outside of the classroom that I'm excited to explore. I'm really glad I attended that MBA fair!
