Ms. Leago Stella Takalani is an engineer, CEO and founder of Luvhone Engineering and Consulting Partners, a NewSpace private company operating in aerospace, satellite engineering and ICT. Prior to Luvhone, she held various positions at executive management at Sentech as Chief Technology Officer, Air Traffic Navigation Services as Senior Manager: Technology (R&D) and also engineering related positions at Smile Communications and MTN amongst others. As an engineer, she is also co-inventor for a patent commercialized for use in the Mobile Telecoms sector for subscriber provisioning. She holds M.Sc. degree in technology management and is also advisory board member for University of Pretoria faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology. She is also a Non-Executive Director for TuksNovate, a University of Pretoria Non-profit organization aimed at driving entrepreneurship and cross-acceleration of startups in the high-tech space.
