On the LLM experience
The inter-disciplinary curriculum offered at Fletcher allows you to see the interconnection of law with all other fields. Fletcher enables the student to address legal problems from a wide range of perspectives, alongside the traditional legal perspective. The classroom experience is phenomenal due to small class sizes and the quality of the faculty. In addition, Fletcher´s team spirit is one of its best assets. The community is constantly engaged and everyone is more than willing to help and contribute to the common well-being. Furthermore, the school is very diverse with people coming from a vast array of backgrounds and experiences.
On the diversity of thought at Fletcher
I learned about Fletcher when researching the top programs in international law. One of the best aspects of Fletcher is that the classroom feels like a smaller version of the UN General Assembly. Fletcher has truly expanded my global perspective. I have learned that becoming an international lawyer is not just about knowing the law, but also about understanding how the law works within the globalized world. Fletcher has taught me to look at the world with a fresh perspective, and to believe that there are still good people in this world willing to work collaboratively in order to make the world a better place. I plan to use my Fletcher experience to fight global injustice by using my international relations, legal, and language skills in a combined manner.
