Across the globe, schools and universities have been forced to shut their doors to protect students and teachers and to slow the spread of coronavirus. But could they play a vital role in defeating COVID-19?

Tufts University has transformed parts of its campus into a military-style hospital to treat the infected, and students - including The Fletcher School's elite military fellows, professors of practice and student volunteers with on-the-ground experience - are now using their expertise and skills to support the healthcare system.
