‘Game on’ for Transatlantic Climate Efforts After Democrats Gain Us Senate Control

When voters in the U.S. state of Georgia elected two Democratic party candidates to the U.S. Senate, they swept aside a political obstacle to serious international cooperation on greenhouse gas emissions — the Republican Senate majority. 


That means “game on for legislative action” on climate change, said Rachel Kyte, dean of The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Massachusetts.
