MIB Professional Opportunities

MIB Professional Opportunities

One of the defining characteristics that Fletcher students share is the desire to create their own personalized career path. That can be both liberating and daunting, but Fletcher's Office of Career Services and the Institute for Business in the Global Context offer support to assist in this journey.

Students pursuing their MIB degree are interested in a variety of career paths. While many have an interest in a career with a management focus, the sectors and industries vary. Some MIB students would like a private sector career with an international focus. Interests range from political risk analysis to banking in the emerging markets to policy work in an energy company to corporate social responsibility. Many others would like to pursue careers with non-governmental organizations. Some of these students are interested in NGOs with business-related missions, such as microfinance or business development, while others would like to use their management skills in socially-oriented organizations. Still other students plan to work for the government or international organizations like the World Bank or the IMF.
