"Fletcher provided me the opportunity to try and explore new things. Business and finance classes were completely foreign to me, but I found I really enjoyed them. The Fletcher faculty and the Office of Career Services opened doors that I never would have thought would be possible. The education at Fletcher, of course, was much more than the classes. A student body that was diverse ethnically, culturally, linguistically and professionally showed me there was never one way to approach a problem. It taught me how to listen and utilize other ideas and ways of thinking. In my post-Fletcher jobs, I have found that "thinking outside the box" — no matter how clichéd — is something that is highly valued. "
