Student Profiles

Regina Wilson, MALD 09, United States

“Like most of the fields within international affairs, security studies requires comprehension of a complex interaction of global actors, emerging issues and cross-cutting themes. At Fletcher, I can look at security through both traditional and non-traditional lenses, and I am encouraged to explore the intersections between security and other fields such as development, economics and the environment.”

“The interests and accomplishments of my colleagues at Fletcher constantly challenge my conceptions, encourage me to look at new areas and push me to define my ideas. Professors invite the students to bring their experiences to the classroom, and those experiences are from every part of the world, from the public, private and non-profit sectors.”
