“Two things were paramount in choosing a graduate program in international relations: a student body that reflects the diversity of our world, and a curriculum that addresses the interdisciplinary nature of global problems. At Fletcher, I found both, and I’m now reaping the benefits of that choice. I recently prepared for my Middle Eastern history midterm with a group of seven students, five of whom either come from or have lived in the Middle East. On the curriculum front, I’m currently taking a history class, a law class, an economics class, and a business class, and I attend a bi-monthly seminar analyzing water issues with students and faculty from medical, veterinary, public health, engineering, and environmental and nutrition science backgrounds. It doesn’t get much better than this!”
