Student Profiles

Louisa Trackman, MALD 09, United States

“With its wealth of courses and flexible curriculum, I am able to contextualize my previous experience with post-conflict solutions in a way that informs my professional goals in international development. This flexibility allows me to draw out connections that exist among fields of study and analyze current and developing situations through multiple lenses. The interdisciplinary approach at Fletcher provides an environment that encourages both deep and broad understanding of world problems and conflicts in order to problem-solve creatively and effectively. This depth and breadth is enriched by the diversity of the students who come to Fletcher with a multitude of professional and personal experiences and perspectives. As a result, we learn not only from the faculty but from our classmates as well.”
