The Fletcher School

A Graduate School of International Affairs

Student Profiles

George G. Wolf, Jr., MALD 08, USA

"I came here with a pretty clear idea what I want to do -- infrastructure finance in Africa, ideally for the World Bank or the IFC  - and there’s no better school than Fletcher to give me the tools I need. But what I’ve found is that the learning environment is closer to a small liberal arts school than to a large professional school. The combination makes for a very rich experience."

"I was initially looking for a joint degree between an international relations school and a business school, or possibly an MBA alone, but the Fletcher MALD curriculum is a better option for me. Fletcher has both more rigorous business coursework than most IR schools, and far more international content than even the best business schools."
