Another common subject of my photography is my dog, Jake, who is my best companion for this type of work. He never complains when I spend hours in one spot, or if it starts raining or turns cold. I caught this shot with an old manual camera, years ago. I have never been able to reproduce it, despite all the high tech auto-focus, auto-everything fancy gear I now use.
