Traditional

Brown chicken egg; yellow, red and green chemical dyes; electric kistka.

This traditional design, repeated twice on each side of the egg, represents a lady’s hand and embroidered sleeve, a reference to the hand of friendship. In another adaptation of pre-Christian symbols, dots representing rain are now associated with the tears of Mary at the crucifixion.
