Day of remembrance President Bush has declared today a national day of prayer and remembrance.
Candlelight vigil A national e-mail campaign is urging all US residents to go outside tonight at 10 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (7 p.m. Pacific Time) and hold lighted candles as a demonstration of national strength and unity.

There will be an interfaith service today [9-14-01] at Tufts in response to President Bush's call for a National Day of Prayer and Remembrance. 
It will be held at noon in Goddard Chapel for the Medford Tufts community  with participation by Chaplain Patricia Kepler, Father David O'Leary, Rabbi Jeffrey Summit, and Imam Nourreddine Hawat.

What You Can Do  A broad range of agencies reported being inundated with offers of help for those in New York and Washington affected by the attacks.
