Biography

Jennifer is a second year MALD student at the Fletcher School where she is focusing her studies on International Security and Conflict Resolution and Negotiation. She is writing her MALD thesis on the radicalization of Muslim women in the West. She received a grant from the Jebsen Center to examine the role of women in the 2006 Toronto terrorism case. During the summer of 2007, she interned with the New York City Police Department Intelligence Division where she plans to return to post graduation. Past work experience includes: Director of Fellowships and Special Programs at the Center on Law and Security at NYU School of Law in New York City. Prior to her work at the Center, she served as Deputy Communications Director and as a Senior Program Associate with The New America Foundation, a think tank in Washington, DC. She is also a regular contributor to the political blog thewashingtonnote.com. She received a BA from Colgate University in International Affairs where she spent time studying in Geneva, Switzerland and Prague, Czech Republic. .
