    IPANet  From the Multilateral Investment Guaranty Agency (a World Bank agency), IPANet is "...an on-line information clearinghouse, providing easy desktop access  to investment opportunities, sources of finance, laws and regulations governing investments, and lists of key players in international investment."   

    Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)  This group is made up of the industrialized, market-economy countries seeking to maximize economic growth and support non-members with their economic development.  This site is loaded with useful statistical information, full-text documents and papers.  See the Working Group on Privatisation and Governance of State-Owned Assets.

    PrivatizationLINK  This site, maintained by the Multilateral Investment Guaranty Agency (a World Bank agency), provides "a wealth of information on upcoming privatization tenders, country privatization programs, investment laws and regulations and other data."  Free registration and powerful searching capabilities.  Country by country listing of project profiles of upcoming divestitures, information on country privatization programs, and other privatization related information.  See also their comprehensive gathering of resources on accounting firms, business associations, government, investment advisors, law firms, media firms, consultants, educational institutions and investment promotion agencies involved in privatization issues.   The Virtual Library has lots of excellent information.

    Centre for Research in Public Sector Management, University of Canberra  "...seeks to address both frontier issues in management and perennial questions of public administration."  The Centre conducts research on the important issues in public sector management, as well as promotes discussion, debate and conferences on the issue.  

    Harvard Institute for International Development (HIID)  "...a multidisciplinary center for coordinating development assistance, training, and research on Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, and Latin America..."  Search their publications and papers for work on Privatization issues. 

    National Center for Policy Analysis  "...a nonprofit, nonpartisan public policy research institute that seeks innovative, private sector solutions to public policy problems."  This site has an excellent section on privatization -- innovations in the field, deterrents to it and competition, privatization worldwide, U.S. state and local privatizations and candidates for privatization.
