News from the CIERP - Spring 2004

• CIERP welcomes a new student assistant, Lilia Gerberg. Lilia is a first-year MALD student at Fletcher and we are excited to have her much needed help!
• CIERP Director, Bill Moomaw , is traveled to Houston in February to speak to the Fletcher and Tufts based alumni groups on ‘The International and National Context of Global Climate Change'. Professor Moomaw has also recently joined the Committee on Science, Engineering and Public Policy for the American Association for the Advancement of Science and is Chair of the Membership Committee for the Chicago Climate Exchange.
• CIERP Assistant Director, Melissa Bailey, will be traveling in March to Kassel , Germany to attend a workshop on ‘Sustaining Animal Health and Food Safety in Organic Farming' and present a paper on ‘Globalization of the Livestock Market'.
