ALEXANDER (HAP) ELLIS III
Mr. Ellis is a partner in RockPort Partners and RockPort Capital Partners, a private equity fund focused on energy technologies, environmental technologies and advanced materials. He has been a partner in several electric power-related companies that were formed to develop large (520MW and a 638MW) gas-fired electric generating stations. He also helped start a web-based electricity information service for residential and commercial consumers. He has extensive experience in the electric power industry, including the energy efficiency and renewable businesses, both from the perspective of start-up companies and growth companies. Mr. Ellis received a BA from Colorado College and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. |
