Diana Klein

Diana Klein is a Senior Programme Officer at the Eurasia department of International Alert, a UK based peacebuilding organisation. She currently manages a regional project ‘Economy and Conflict in the South Caucasus’, engaging private sector actors in peacebuilding. Part of the project focuses on understanding and addressing the link between corruption and conflict in the South Caucasus. Previously, Diana has worked as a research assistant with the International Organisation for Migration in Kosovo; as well as an associate facilitator and project coordinator at the Harry S. Truman Peace Research Institute at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, implementing joint Israeli-Palestinian peace education training programmes. She holds an MA in Post-War Recovery and Development Studies from the University of York, UK, a certificate degree in Peace Studies from the European Peace University in Stadtschlaining, Austria and a BA in International Relations and Journalism from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. Diana has edited and co-authored numerous publications and articles, notably the ‘Corruption and Conflict in the South Caucasus’ published in 2006. Diana is an Israeli and Slovak citizen and she is proficient in Hungarian, Hebrew, Slovak, English, Russian and German; and is currently learning Spanish.
