Cheyanne Church is an Assistant Professor of Practice at The Fletcher School. She has been involved in peacebuilding research and practice around the world with specific geographic expertise in West Africa, the Balkans and Northern Ireland. She also holds the position of West Africa Liaison for the Reflecting on Peace Practice (RPP) project of Collaborative for Development Action (CDA) which seeks to improve the effectiveness of peace practice. Prior to her role at Fletcher, she was the Director of Institutional Learning and Research at Search for Common Ground (SFCG), where she led the organisation’s work on design, monitoring and evaluation. Prior, Ms Church was the Director of Policy and Evaluation at INCORE in Northern Ireland, a research institute that seeks to blend policy and practice to find new answers to violent conflict. She has published on evaluation and conflict resolution, single identity work and policy impact on conflict issues. Most recently, she is also a co-author of the study, What difference has peacebuilding made in Kosovo?, a look at the cumulative effects of peacebuilding programming in Kosovo.
