Abeer Mohammad

Abeer Mohammad was born and raised in Baghdad, the ancient city of civilization. She received her BA degree in English Language and Literature and MA in Translation/Interpretation. Her work with the coalition provisional authority after 2003 war spurred her to study international relations. At Fletcher, she is focused on Middle East politics and culture, and conflict resolution and conflict prevention. She hopes to continue to research women issues and concerns in conflict/post conflict environments.
