Sovereign wealth funds (SWFs) were the subject of a panel discussion last week during talks hosted by the American University of Beirut. Professor Warde, spoke about the general distrust of SWFs, attributing negative public opinion to perceptions of foreign interference, especially in the context of the “war on terror.”
