All MIB students balance their education by taking a series of required core classes in addition to having the flexibility to pursue individual interests through elective classes. The core provides a foundation of skills and knowledge while the variety of electives allows students to customize their education to suit their own interests.

Year One

During the first year, MIB students fulfill the majority of their core classes in international business and international affairs. Students also have the opportunity to take several electives in preparation for summer internships and fields of study.

* Students may place out of Financial Statement Management by providing evidence of a Certified Public Accountant certification or equivalent.

** Students may place out of Data Analysis and Statistical Models for Decision-Making by passing an equivalency exam offered during Orientation Week.

 

Year Two

During the second year, MIB students fulfill the requirements for their two fields of study, one international affairs and one international business focus area. Students have the option of participating in an exchange program during the first semester.
