The Fletcher Fund continues to experience strong growth thanks to the generosity of many alumni, parents and friends across the globe. In 2006-2007, The Fletcher Fund grew by 20% and raised $1,230,573. This included 313 leadership gifts at the Fletcher Associate level.
With 27% alumni participation last year, we, as part of the Fletcher global network, have done well. Nonetheless, I am convinced we can and should do better. For fiscal year 2007-2008, The Fletcher Fund goal is $1,300,000. In addition, we would like to see alumni participation increase to at least 30%.
To inspire all alumni to participate in the Fund, several alumni have offered a 75th Anniversary Participation Challenge. This group is poised to give an additional $75,000 this year as an incentive to encourage participation at all levels. So whether you give $7.50 or $75,000, we invite you to demonstrate your Fletcher pride and help commemorate the School’s founding by supporting The Fletcher Fund this year.
