50th Reunion – Class of 1959 and Classes of 1934-1958
Dean Stephen W. Bosworth and the entire Fletcher community were delighted to welcome back several alumni and their guests for Fall Reunion on 10-11 September 2009. Fifteen members of the Class of 1959 were in attendance to celebrate their 50th Reunion along with quite a few guests. They were joined by alumni from five preceding classes as well. Thank you to all our alumni and friends who joined us for Fall Reunion 2009!
The following classes were represented at Fall Reunion 2009: 1937, 1944, 1946, 1947, 1958, and 1959
Alumni and their guests were treated to lectures and presentations by Fletcher Faculty and Administrators:
- Professor Andrew Hess presented on “The Crucial Geopolitical Location of Afghanistan at the Turn of the Century”
- Dean Stephen W. Bosworth, along with Academic Dean Peter Uvin, gave a “State of the School” presentation followed by a Q&A session
- The Honorable Winston Lord, F60 delivered the Keynote Address, entitled
“On Balance,”
at Fletcher’s Convocation Ceremony
