Reapplication Policy

Previous applicants may reapply within three years by submitting the items listed below. Please refer to our Application Instructions for further information on each requirement.

Every year, some individuals previously denied admission are successful in the reapplication process. If your previous application was more than three years ago you must submit a complete new application.

  • Application Form
  • Application Fee of $70
  • One additional letter of recommendation
  • Updated Resume
  • Transcripts for any new coursework completed since your last application
  • Official Test Score Reports if you have retested
  • Personal Statement
  • Answer to one essay question
  • Evaluative Interview (optional)
  • Scholarship Application (if applicable)

Deferral Policy

Admitted students wishing to defer admission to The Fletcher School must submit a written request to the Committee on Admissions. Deferrals are considered on a case-by-case basis and are normally granted for no more than one academic year. If a deferral is granted, a non-refundable $500 deferral deposit is required in addition to the non-refundable $500 tuition deposit. These deposits are applied to the first semester tuition.

Candidates should make every effort to apply in the year they intend to enroll.
