Late applications for Fall Enrollment will be accepted until February 10th. However, preference in awarding scholarships will be given to applicants who meet the January 15th deadline. Please note: PhD applicants must apply by January 15th—late PhD applications will not be accepted.

Early Notification

The Early Notification process provides applicants an opportunity to receive an admissions decision by January 1st for enrollment the following September, allowing additional time to plan for graduate study. The process is non-binding; thus applicants may apply to other graduate programs. PhD applicants may not apply for Early Notification.

Early Notification applicants will either be offered admission or deferred for later review with the Regular Notification applicant pool. Notification of scholarship awards will be made in late March.

Applications that are not complete by November 15th will be held and reviewed with the Regular Notification pool, provided all materials are received by January 15th.

Spring Enrollment

The vast majority of applications to The Fletcher School are for the fall semester. However, the School does admit a small class each year for the spring semester starting in January. Spring enrollment is available for MALD candidates only.
