Videos

For over 20 years we all have been trying to help post-war countries  transform and reform their security sectors. Our efforts usually fail: why? We examine this crucial question as part of the WPF's African Peace Missions project. (3:47 mins). This video was made possible in part by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, through the Institute for Human Security at The Fletcher School, Tufts University.

On July 21, 2016, the World Peace Foundation launched its report, "African Politics, African Peace," which charts an agenda for peace in Africa, focusing on how the African Union can implement its norms and use its instruments to prevent and resolve armed conflicts. It is an independent report of the WPF, supported by the African Union, and is the most extensive review of the African Union’s peace missions ever conducted.  This video introduces you to the main themes and ideas of the Report.
