On Campus Life:  One of the most remarkable things about Fletcher is how different and yet incredibly vibrant each day on campus is. Fletcher is not only a school with an incredibly rigorous academic program - it's also an environment which you genuinely want to be in. Social activities on campus are wonderfully varied, ranging from social hours to dance classes to crisis Simulex exercises. Perhaps the first thing that struck me about my colleagues in the second year of their programs upon my arrival to Fletcher was how much they respected and enjoyed spending time with each other. This builds a community of respect which far transcends the classroom, and which I believe we will carry with us, post-Fletcher, into our careers.

Using your Fletcher degree to make a difference in the world: I want to use the knowledge and skills that I have gained at Fletcher to return to the humanitarian and development sector in the area of humanitarian logistics, specifically the delivery of aid to high-risk individuals in conflict and natural disaster scenarios. At Fletcher, I have had the opportunity to explore in-depth the political, social and economic factors which have led to the conflicts that the global community is currently facing. Fletcher's incredible faculty have enabled me to gain an understanding of the stories that are, so often, hidden by the statistics. This knowledge will enable me to design and guide humanitarian assistance projects which are well informed, researched, and use innovative solutions to provide appropriate aid to vulnerable populations.
