On the Fletcher Family: There are only a handful of international affairs graduate schools that compare to the quality of Fletcher, and truth be told all are stellar institutions. I discovered, however, that Fletcher stood out from the pack for one reason I personally valued as most important: the Fletcher alumni network. As I researched and compared schools, I was overwhelmed with offers of assistance from both current Fletcher students and alumni. I recognized that when I try to solve problems over the coming decades, I might not remember all the lessons from my courses, but I will remember, and rely upon my Fletcher relationships and the Fletcher alumni base.

On Fletcher’s Dual Degree Options: I am currently a dual-degree student, earning a MALD at Fletcher and an MBA at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. I selected the MALD program because I felt it would pair enormously well with the MBA at Tuck. I found the two programs to be strikingly similar in regards to their intensely team-oriented student culture and enthusiastic alumni base. The flexibility of the MALD program would allow me to blend Fletcher's international security studies and international environment and resource policy with business and management at Tuck. After grad school, I am interested in public-private partnerships. Consequently, the MALD/MBA dual-degree offering between Fletcher and Tuck was a no brainer.
