Fredrik von Bothmer, 2016, Germany

On the depth of the curriculum: A unique feature of The Fletcher School is that it offers courses that match almost every imaginable interest in international law or international affairs. Students can even shape their own curriculum by picking courses from not only The Fletcher School, but also Harvard Law School and The John F. Kennedy School of Government. All of these schools are in the vicinity and hence easily reachable (if weather permits!) and together, they offer an almost infinite amount of interesting courses. This really is Fletcher's unique selling position: it offers the possibility to pursue in-depth research for very specific career goals. Plus, my LL.M. class of 2016 is a living example of diversity in both background and interests: with 15 students we represent 17 nationalities and 15 unique fields of interest! I cannot imagine going to any other grad school.

On Career Support: Coming from a country with free public education, I am overwhelmed by the support that Career Services offers. In particular, one-on-one sessions are very helpful to not only shape applications for specific positions, but also to practice interview situations.
