On selecting the LLM program: During my extensive research for an LLM program The Fletcher School impressed me the most with the number of courses offered in international law, non-law offerings related to my field of interest, and the flexibility of the program. The Fletcher School gives me the opportunity to develop an LLM curriculum focused on human rights that includes law and non-law courses, and it affords me the opportunity to cross-register at Harvard University and take part in many human rights related activities in the Cambridge area.

How I first learned about Fletcher:  I first heard about The Fletcher School from a family friend. At the time I was researching Master of Laws in International Law programs, and after hearing my story, he highly recommended the LLM program at Fletcher. This conversation inspired me to navigate the webpage and research the program thoroughly. I was impressed with all that Fletcher offers, such as the small size of the cohort and the large number of international law courses offered. Furthermore, at The Fletcher School I found a commitment to preparing students to face the world’s most complex problems and challenges with a multi-disciplinary approach.
