Why I chose Fletcher: My experience working for several private firms in highly regulated markets has shown me the importance of an in-depth comprehension of the interactions between business and politics in a global context. The partnership between public and private sectors is one of the major challenges for most of the biggest companies worldwide. I have chosen the Fletcher MIB program because it includes the studies and professional training I consider essential to advance my career: Political Economy, which complements my background in economics, Quantitative Economics and Business: especially Finance and Accounting as well as advanced management and leadership tools. The option to combine these subjects with the regional specializations was another key factor in my decision to apply to this program.
How I first learned about Fletcher: I found the Fletcher MIB program surfing the Internet several years ago when I was looking for the best program to advance my career. I am an economist, and I wanted to improve my business skills but I didn’t want to reduce all my studies to just that. I was aware of the need to better understand the interactions between business and politics and, of course, I was looking for a program with an international focus. It was easy to me: I found Fletcher.
