How I learned about Fletcher: I learned about Fletcher through lecturers offered and through senior officers at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Vietnam who are Fletcher alumni. I visited Fletcher the first time in 2008 with one of my lecturers and attended one of Professor Glennon’s classes. I was so impressed with his teaching style and the exciting class environment that I always wanted to return.
On the classroom experience: Being a trainee lawyer in the corporate practice of an international law firm, I understand a lawyer can only assist his/her client most effectively if they have an understanding of various aspects of law. With Fletcher’s interdisciplinary curriculum, both my business and political knowledge has increased, while I have also gained a deeper understanding of the critical legal aspects of business and trade laws. Furthermore, there are always helpful and outstanding professors and students from different backgrounds willing to share their knowledge and perspectives.
