John Ezeani, 2011, Nigeria

Why I chose Fletcher: The Fletcher School of is without a doubt the foremost institution in its field.  From the moment I decided to pursue further graduate education outside my home country, I never had any doubt as to which institution I would love to attend. The reputation of the school had long aroused my interest, and it was only natural for me to choose Fletcher without hesitation. My experience since arriving has more than justified my decision. From a very competent, vastly experienced (but surprisingly relaxed and easily approachable) faculty; to a diverse, extremely interesting United Nations-type aggregation of  international students; to a well-rounded and multidimensional curriculum; the Fletcher School lives up to its reputation.

On the international life I see for myself after Fletcher: I intend to apply the knowledge I gain and the network of contacts I develop at Fletcher to contribute towards the improvement of global governance, the development of solutions to the world’s intractable problems, and the advancement of the standing of both the Nigerian nation and the African continent on the global stage.
