Francesco Galietti is the founder and CEO of Policy Sonar, a Rome-based consultancy specializing in political and regulatory risk analysis on behalf of industrial players and institutional investors. Earlier in his career, he served as special advisor to the Italian Minister of Finance, consulted with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' task force on sovereign wealth funds and worked with two renowned law firms.
He is the author of "Alta Pressione", a book on regulatory risk in Italy, and co-author of "Italia, potenza globale", and is a commentator on economic and geopolitical issues for several media outlets.
Francesco graduated in Economics (Hons) at the University of Turin, Italy, and is an alumnus of the 2010 "Singularity University" graduate studies program at the NASA campus in Moffett Field, California. He is currently working towards a PhD in Law and Economics at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, under the guidance of Professor Uwe H. Schneider.
