María Luisa Hayem Brevé, MALD 09, El Salvador

“I chose to pursue my master’s degree at The Fletcher School because I’m interested in continuing my professional career in the field of development and poverty reduction. The Fletcher School offers a comprehensive program in this area. Moreover, The Fletcher School is highly recognized around the globe and has extensive experience in the preparation of innovative leaders and problem-solvers in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. The flexibility in the curriculum allows me to complement my main interest in development and poverty reduction with other related areas, such as business. I believe that the private sector has a major role to play in improving the lives of the poor and I’m interested in studying how to maximize the potential benefits in this relationship.”
