The diversity of The Fletcher School is a tremendous asset to my studies. For a session of my Classics in International Relations Theory class, we discussed the works of Marx and Lenin. We had a very spirited discussion, as my classmates included a Moscow native and two Americans, one with professional experience in China and the other with three years of experience in Siberia. With so many different backgrounds and interests here, I am pushed to think about my research in new ways.
The quality of the faculty is excellent. Not only are they scholars of their respective fields, many are professionally involved in their communities outside of academia. And despite having full schedules, professors have time to discuss ideas and questions with their students. The synergy between the faculty and student bodies is incredible.
