Fletcher's Office of Career Services works with PhD students interested in a non-academic international relations career path. Our graduates have pursued careers at a wide range of institutions and organizations. For those focused on the academic job market, The Fletcher School offers support at a variety of levels. Fletcher faculty and the Office of Career Services support job candidates with career advice, professional development and general assistance. There is also the opportunity every year in May-June to participate in the three-week intensive Graduate Institute for Teaching (GIFT) as a Teaching Fellow and then to co-teach a class in the fall semester with a faculty mentor. The biannual two-day "Preparation for the Academic Job Market Seminar" is an additional way to get a step up in the academic job search.
