Tuition and Fees

• Tuition Bills are generated electronically through the Tufts e-Bill system. The first e-Bill will be generated in December 2012, and students are required to enroll in the Tufts e-Bill system once they have set-up their Tufts e-mail account and obtained their Tufts Student ID number.
  
  
• Tufts e-Bill is not for use in billing third-party sponsors, scholarship organizations, or grant administrators. If a third-party sponsors you (meaning that tuition and/or fees should be billed directly to the sponsor rather than yourself), please make sure that the Tufts University Bursar's office has the proper documentation. This documentation should include what is to be billed to the sponsor(s), the duration of the sponsorship, and the sponsor’s billing address. The following Tufts University staff handle third-party billing:
  
  • Anita Violi (anita.violi@tufts.edu) supports students with a last name that begins with A-E
  • Marie Costanzo (marie.costanzo@tufts.edu) supports students with a last name that begins with F-L and R-Z
  • Lisa Cardalino (lisa.cardalino@tufts.edu) supports students with a last name that begins with M-Q

• Please contact the designated staff member listed above to determine if they have the appropriate documentation on file so that they may bill your third-party. If you need to contact any of these staff members by phone, please call the front desk of the Student Services Center at Dowling Hall:  617-627-2000.
• Please keep in mind that if you are sponsored by a third-party, you still need to enroll in the Tufts e-Bill system.  Also, you should not invite your third-party sponsor to view your e-Bill.

• Since you are ultimately responsible for your bills and making sure that they are paid on time, you will always receive a copy of your e-Bill. It is your responsibility to check it for accuracy and ensure that it is paid in full. This will also ensure that you do not have a Financial Hold placed on your account which prevents course registration.

The University participates in a tuition payment plan administered by Sallie Mae. You have the option to spread out your tuition payment over the duration of a semester (5 monthly payments) or a year (10 monthly payments).
