The United States may be giving South Korea a big tool in collecting intelligence from its adversary to the North.
The Obama administration has proposed selling Seoul four high-altitude drones known as the Global Hawk in a deal worth $1.2 billion. As part of the deal the U.S. would also provide training and logistical support.
